Igrexa de Santa María do Campo

Leaving the Plaza Mayor on the Rúa Pastor Díaz you will arrive in a few minutes to the House of Lions, an old pazo that retains on its stone façade a fantastic shield of arms held by two lions. From this commercial street you can travel much of the historical center through the Parría Fonte Nova and the Pracíña da Herba until you reach the Church of Santa María, Good of Cultural Interest and the oldest to see in Viveiro. This Roman-style temple of the 12th century, which has next to a magnificent cruises, stands out by a cover of four arquivoltas and in the interior, a large processional cross of the 16th century.
