Gole Alcantara

Le Gole di Alcantara, Las Gargantas de Alcantara are part of the most fruitful routes from Taormina from which it is 17 Km away. It is a volcanic basalt formation that has been eroded by the river that gives name to the throats, sculpting a channel about 400 meters long, by 5 meters wide, whose black walls reflect the light by sketching shines and spectacular tones. There is an elevator that introduces us into the throats, although you can also lower a path. We also have the possibility to rent guide boots to facilitate the adventure of reassembling the parade and avoid the occasional cold in addition to the rocks.
