Porto- São Bento Station

Although the first train arrived on November 17, 1896, the station was officially opened in 1916. The building, one of the most important artistic works of the early 20th century, is by the architect Marques da Silva and its atrium is covered with twenty thousand tiles with historical representations of the painter Jorge Colaço.
