Essex Market

If we are looking for a real supply market like the ones before, but with their corresponding places where to bite something, we must approach the Lower East Side area. At one of its corners was until last May the oldest market in the city, the Essex Street Market, opened in 1888. Its life-long posts - no franchises - in which they sell spices, bagels, conserved and a thousand more products have moved to a larger and more modern space just a few meters, at number 88 on the same street, without having raised the rental price for the sellers. There are 30 premises.
