Just a few steps from the Plaza Mayor, that is, close to Plaza 23, its other restaurant, and to the historical set that, day after day, travel citizens and tourists, El Mesón de Gonzalo welcomes its guests with a dedicated decoration and a kitchen that combines tradition and modernity to equal parts. Carabineros and ali-oli, steak tartar, grilled milk chuleberries, dairy lamb, traditional-style roast, hook hake and red tuna, tomato compote and crispy red onion are some of its specialities. To accompany you offer a winery with 170 wine references. It has a bar if what we want is to take a cap, the one with the big potatoes being its specialty.
