The House of the nuns

Located in an old renovated house and in a pedestrian street that ends in a staircase known as the "Tribuna de los Pobres," we find the Caserio de las Monjas. Its owners Txema Alaiz and his wife Mari, bring us the best of the Basque Country cuisine and the popular Malaysian cuisine. Around its entrance hall we find two event lounges and at the bottom of the bar area along with a typical Andalusian shaded courtyard to enjoy on warm nights. The proposal to cover is tasty and very varied, our favorite being the Morcilla de Burgos and the lobster and rape kebab, attached to a wide menu. The tapeor area is always very busy but if you don't find a table, you can order a drink and wait for your turn, I'm sure you're not disappointed. If the option is a more formal meal or dinner, grilled meat and fish dishes are a main place in this restaurant.
