El Baserri

Taking a walk along the Calle Mayor we find the Baserri, a small bar with wooden façade right in the center of the historic town. When you enter the bar, for a moment you can stop and imagine what all the homes in the area would be like in the past. The bar now occupies the entire floor of the building, but the wider part of the place is located in the old inner courtyard of the house, which has been roofed and decorated in rustic style. In the center of the room if you look up you can find all kinds of decorations like an old house, with bookshelves, a fireplace (of gas), dyes, straw ornaments and old lamps hanging from the roof. As a peculiarity with respect to the rest of the bars in the area, they usually serve you hot tapas that are rations of different peas (paella, mitas, gulas, lacquer to the galician, etc.) to choose from a 24-tapas assortment.
