Teixois Ethnographic Set

The ethnographic set of Teixois is considered to be of cultural interest. It is a small village near Taramundi, with houses and buildings that remember a time when there was no modern machinery. There are many hydraulics that were used to forge iron, wash clothes, grind grain, sharpen metals or even produce electric energy. It was opened to the public in 1980 and since then, you can see the hydraulic ingeniums still in operation. You will find a spleen, a machine to beat the iron, a mill where cereals could be ground, a sharpening wheel, in which all kinds of tools to work were sharpened, and a batan, which was used to wash the clothes that was beaten by a few slices.
