Mesostrate 4.3 This tavern is located within the walls of a 16th century ruin, under fresh and welcoming trees. The collapsed roof of the Venice Lodge has never been rebuilt and people now eat outdoors. During the day, the restaurant is a pleasant break in the shade of the trees, while at night you come to hear traditional live music and enjoy a good meal accompanied by a cretense beer or a glass of homemade wine. An establishment and an atmosphere of good humor, for a pleasant culinary moment in Hania.
Ellotia 4.8 It's not easy to find but the place is worth it! Good reputation for several years, it's a real family business and away from the crowd: the mother is in the kitchen, the son in the dining room and everyone in a courtyard in the shadow of a magnificent fig tree. The specialties are crethenian and international, but the whole reputation of the house is based on the lamb and the oven pig with tomato, feta and mushrooms, sprinkled with white wine sauce. At night it is a friendly atmosphere with light and soft music.
Plateia 4.6 Since 1982, they have been serving excellent assortment of mezzedes cretens. It is the great specialty of the house, in addition to the fresh fish that is served all day in front of the sea. There are also specialties of meat, creens and Greeks, grilled lamb brushes, snails... Special mention for the pig accompanied by grilled mushrooms and Graviera cheese. All covered with a butter and parsley sauce (the portion is very well served to the point of delights to two people). Ideal to view the ships on the large terrace with air conditioning.
