Interpretation Centre

The Ochagavía Interpretation Centre is located in the village of the same name, in the Navarra pirenaica, and contains information on the nature and life in the Salazar Valley, while analysing the conservation of ecosystems, focusing on the Irati Forest (17,175 ha). The Interpretation Centre is located in the city centre of Ochagavía, on the road to Izalzu. It consists of three different plants. Ground floor. Reception and Information and Documentation Centre. Tourist and environmental information of the area is available. First floor. Information on geology, fauna and vegetation. Second floor. Ethnographic exhibition: useful and traditional tools of the Salazar Valley. Diaporama - audio-visual - on the Irati Forest. HORARY: Winter 2015- 2016: until December 31, from Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday, from 10: 00 to 14: 00. Friday and Saturday, from 10: 00 to 14: 00 and from 16: 30 to 18: 30 *. Monday's closed.
