Cathedral of Agios Minas

Right on Ekteleseos Martiron Square we find the Cathedral of Agios Minas, one of the largest churches in all of Greece. Available in the form of a cross, it has two twin turreons. It had to be restored after suffering damage in various battles in the city. It stands out for its grandiosity but not for its antiquity. Inside you can enjoy the excellent quality Byzantine iconography, which is typical of the Orthodox religion.
