Osaka Castle

The Osaka Castle, surrounded by a large pit and the beautiful Nishinomaru gardens, is one of the main tourist attractions to see in Osaka. Built in the 16th century, although a few years later it was destroyed first by a war and then by a fire, the castle was forgotten until its reconstruction in 1931. It is important to know that, in its modern interior, in addition to a museum, a convention room and the Altar Toyokuni, the castle has an elevator that will allow you to climb the 8 floors of the castle to enjoy an amazing view of the entire environment. Also, keep in mind that, although the interior is not very interesting, the best of the castle are the exterior views from the gardens and a pond, especially in spring with the flowering of its more than 600 cherry trees, which make it one of the most beautiful places in the country.
