Hanging Houses

This small city has a beautiful row of houses literally erected on the edge of the rocky promontory. They are the hanged houses of Frias and have little to envy those of Cuenca. These houses look like the typical popular architecture based on wooden fabric and are developed both up and down. If you walk the interior street you will see a 2 or 3-storey building, but if you look at the façade from the outside you will find a 4-storey building. As you see, human ingenuity to take advantage of space has no limits.
