On the southern side of the ria is famous the Café Iruña. This mudejar-style place - yes, who would say so - with a bar and table area offers a specialty that could well be of lower latitudes. It's the pintxosmorunas, cooked on brasses in a corner of the place. They are only served in the afternoons, but if we get there is the choice of serranite, a mouth often with ham and pancake chips.
