Bárcena Mayor

The only urban centre located in the Saja-Besaya Natural Park. This town is one of the most amazing and beautiful historical and artistic urban ensembles in Cantabria and one of the best examples of traditional mountain architecture reflected in the old mountain houses. This town was declared an Artistic Historical Set in 1979.
