Itxaropena Bar

The Itxaropena bar is one of the classic bars of Hondarribia. It is located on San Pedro Street and since 1940 has been presented a traditional cuisine, which has been slightly adapted over the years, but which revolves around the paintings, rations, snacks and combined dishes. It has a large number of tables, which can accommodate more than sixty people, and in the enjoyment of a restaurant service based on informal formulas and traditional food: lamb ribs, fried eggs with ham, fillets... Without giving up seasonal products, especially hunting. You can see well in this establishment boar, deer or pigeon peas. Pintxos, cazueles and snacks complete the range of their gastronomic offer, along with a number of home desserts.
