Skiathos

The island of Skiathos is part of the Swords Islands, its lush vegetation with Aleppo pine forests that slide to the coast makes it one of the most beautiful Greek islands. Its small size (50 km2) makes the car not necessary, but if recommended if we want to turn the island and access the beaches more quickly. Another option is buses (less often in winter but frequent in summer) or even boat excursions, which allow you to travel through Skiathos. There are three routes, one from Chora (the main population) to Koukounaries beach, another from the city of Skiathos to the monastery of Evangelistria, and another from Xanemos in the north of the island. .
